Crew Travel Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Crew Travel Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring authorized travelers have confirmed travel arrangements for air, hotel, and ground transportation.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize assignments and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, they should have excellent written and verbal communication skills to handle sensitive issues professionally and courteously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Confirm travel reservations accurately and at the lowest possible cost
  • Ensure all mandatory elements are included in the reservation
  • Validate that all travelers have active tickets and confirmation numbers for their entire travel itinerary
  • Provide superior customer service skills when answering telephone calls and emails
  • Assist with flight interruptions caused by weather, mechanical delays, or other travel disruptions

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a travel agent or in an airline reservation center agent
  • Detail-oriented with good analytical and organizational skills
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and work effectively
  • Basic-level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
