Travel Logistics Coordinator
Overview
This position plays a vital role in ensuring that authorized travelers of Carnival Cruise Line have confirmed travel arrangements for air, hotel and ground transportation.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify reservations to ensure they are accurate, cost-effective, and meet all mandatory elements; correct discrepancies to prevent travel information from being viewed online or via applicable systems.
- Utilize superior customer service skills when communicating with travelers and stakeholders; provide assistance with booking tools and troubleshoot issues.
- Monitor assigned queues, review and process reservations within established timelines, and notify stakeholders of airline schedule changes or inferior schedules.
- Ensure tickets and ticket exchanges are accurately processed using the correct form of payment based on contractual agreements and guidelines.
- Research and resolve issues as necessary, perform other job-related functions as assigned, and back up other Travel Operations teams.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a travel agent or in an airline reservation center; Sabre preferred.
- Detail-oriented individual with good analytical and organizational skills.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills to handle sensitive issues professionally and courteously.
- Ability to prioritize assignments, resolve issues independently, and work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic-level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
