Job Title: Senior Crew Management Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to join our esteemed organization as a Senior Crew Management Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the activities of the Crewing Department, ensuring seamless execution of procedures and adherence to Principal instructions.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on crew management, recruitment, and performance evaluation.

About the Role:

  • Supervise the implementation of Crewing department procedures and ensure Principals' instructions are followed.
  • Maintain a Crew Plan anticipating crew requirements and direct the monitoring of principal requirements in coordination with the Recruitment Department.
  • Assist in seafarers sourcing/pooling activities and monitor market salaries, pension, and welfare schemes.
  • Evaluate Seafarer's Feedback Forms for off-signers and relay feedback to Principals as needed.
  • Review sign-off crew performance appraisals during sea duties for crew planning and promotion suggestions.
  • Motivate vessel personnel for continuous improvement and encourage performance enhancement.
  • Recommend KPIs for better departmental objectives monitoring.
  • Monitor performance statistics, including total seafarers deployed on monthly and annual basis.
  • Coordinate with concerned personnel on matters related to the Crewing Department.
  • Assist crew and families, resolve employment disputes, and ensure smooth case completion.
  • In cooperation with Principal's Office Crew Department, supervise fleet staff assignment to ships according to CMS procedures.
  • Participate in Emergency Response Teams and Management review meetings.
  • Monitor crew medical and legal cases progress and report to the General Manager.

  • Knowledge of CMS procedures and principles.
