We are seeking a highly motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic finance team.


About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to work closely with our accounting manager, ensuring seamless payment processes and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams.


Duties and Responsibilities
  • Process vendor invoices: Accurately code and enter data into our accounting system, ensuring timely and precise processing of all payments.
  • Review and reconcile vendor statements: Verify outstanding payments and ensure accuracy, resolving any discrepancies promptly.
  • Process employee expense reports: Ensure compliance with company policies, identifying opportunities for process improvement and recommending changes to management.
  • Perform month-end closing tasks: Reconcile accounts payable balances, prepare ageing reports, and assist with internal and external audits by providing supporting documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.

Requirements
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
  • Up to 2 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or a comparable field;
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems;
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software;
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
