Finance-Accounts Receivable and Payable Specialist

Remote VA is looking for an Financial-Accounts Receivable and Payable Specialist with expertise in QuickBooks to streamline our financial processes. This role involves managing both accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, ensuring accuracy in financial records, processing invoices, managing payments, and overseeing billing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including generating invoices and ensuring timely collection of payments
- Oversee the accounts payable process, including verifying, approving, and processing vendor invoices
- Utilize QuickBooks to maintain accurate financial records for both accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Prepare and maintain accounts aging reports to track overdue payments and outstanding invoices
- Communicate with vendors and clients to manage accounts and resolve any issues or inquiries
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting
- Proven experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Online is essential
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
