
Patient Care Coordinator

Patient Services Representatives play a vital role in healthcare by addressing patient queries and concerns, understanding patient needs through active listening, and coordinating information among patients, family members, medical personnel, and administrative staff.
Responsibilities- Respond to incoming calls according to established procedures and departmental standards.
- Provide assistance to patients with their inquiries and concerns.
- Collect outstanding patient balances.
- Support third-party entities, such as insurance providers, with questions regarding patient accounts.
- Make outbound collection calls in accordance with procedure and departmental standards.
- Assist patients with billing-related inquiries and concerns.
- Ensure the safeguarding of protected health information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support department and company goals and policies.
- Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality, adhering to good attendance and timely return from breaks.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Preference for College Graduates or at least 2 years of college studies, with a focus on degrees and courses related to the medical field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Basic mathematical calculation skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Proficiency in email usage.
- Self-motivated individual.
- Organizational skills, prioritization, and meeting deadlines.
- Dependability and reliability.
- Team player supporting department and company goals and policies.
- Flexibility with schedule requirements.
- At least 1 year of call center experience related to medical accounts and programs is beneficial.
