Job Overview

This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless IT system functionality across multiple venues, especially during peak trading hours.

You will work remotely to provide technical support for various IT systems and platforms, with occasional on-site visits as required. This presents a valuable opportunity for problem-solvers who excel in fast-paced environments and enjoy collaborating with hospitality teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver real-time IT support to restaurant teams during business hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Utilize remote tools (e.g., TeamViewer) to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Maintain and update POS menus, item settings, modifiers, reservation systems, and online platforms (Google Business Profile, Facebook)
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to POS errors, printer malfunctions, delivery platform connectivity (Uber Eats, Menulog, DoorDash), and online reservation systems (Quandoo, SevenRooms)
  • Effectively communicate with external vendors and platform support teams
  • Document support cases and maintain an internal knowledge base of common issues and solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Basic networking knowledge (router/modem setup, IP configuration, DHCP/static IPs)
  • Experience with hospitality technology platforms, including POS and online booking systems
  • Proficiency with remote support tools such as TeamViewer
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support non-technical users patiently and clearly
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks independently
