Remote Home Care Scheduler Role Overview

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Remote Home Care Scheduler to join our team. This role involves managing caregiver schedules, communicating changes, and ensuring that clients receive consistent, compassionate care in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain up-to-date caregiver schedules across multiple counties
  • Respond quickly when someone cancels a shift or doesn't clock in
  • Answer calls from clients and caregivers using the VoIP system
  • Update records and case notes in WellSky (we'll train you for it)
  • Work with the ops team to flag issues and make sure staffing stays smooth
  • Conduct regular check-ins and evaluations with caregivers
  • Generate weekly reports and keep leadership in the loop

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous scheduling experience, preferably in healthcare or home care
  • Calm under pressure and naturally organized
  • Able to solve problems on the fly
  • Comfortable with software systems and remote communication
  • Strong relationships with stakeholders, becoming a trusted partner they can rely on
  • Initiative-taker but also a great team player
  • Willing to work in a US time zone schedule
