Job Overview

We are seeking an organized and communicative Caregiver Scheduling Coordinator to join our team.

This vital role serves as a link between clients, caregivers, and the agency, maintaining strong relationships and resolving scheduling conflicts promptly.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assign caregivers based on client needs, skills, and availability, planning for staffing gaps to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Adjust schedules for emergencies, last-minute absences, and urgent client needs to maintain flexibility and adaptability.
  • Communicate schedule changes to caregivers and clients, offering incentives for hard-to-fill shifts to promote collaboration and engagement.
  • Act as the main contact for caregivers, handling availability, assignments, and policy updates to foster trust and open communication.
  • Maintain accurate records in scheduling software, tracking availability and backup schedules to ensure efficient operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in caregiver scheduling or client relations within the homecare or healthcare industry, preferably in the US/AUS.
  • Experience using scheduling software and ability to manage complex schedules with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong time management, communication, and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships and resolve conflicts.
  • Background experience in Financial and Project Management is a plus, along with expertise in Bookkeeping, QuickBooks, and P&L preparation.
