Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team.

  • Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Provide level 2 technical support for IT issues including network, email and office software.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving complex technical problems.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and staff via phone, email and written correspondence.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to resolve issues and improve services.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in providing level 2 technical support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft products including Windows Server, Office 365 and Active Directory.
  • Experience with VMware and virtualization is highly desirable.
  • Current Microsoft certifications and working knowledge of ITIL are essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with LAN and WAN networks would be an advantage.
  • Proven ability to work across teams and build effective relationships with clients and staff.
  • Prior experience with an outsourced service delivery environment and consulting services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • First point of contact for issue resolution with third-party applications and liaison with software vendors.
  • Utilizing RMM tool ConnectWise Command for daily proactive maintenance tasks and monitoring automated alert tickets.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Users – Create/Change/Remove
  • Security and Group Policy changes
  • Networking – router and switch administration, connectivity and internet
  • Email – creation, settings and troubleshooting
  • Office365 – creating new accounts, users, settings and administration
  • SharePoint – setting up OneDrive access on local computers, troubleshooting OneDrive issues, setting permissions to files/folders for users
  • Troubleshooting general issues surrounding unavailable services, printing, performance etc.
  • Enrollment into Microsoft Intune and associated devices to Azure and local domains
  • Monitoring and maintaining daily backups via Datto
