Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining the scope of work for project management teams and controlling construction costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and organize all available project information, including documents, plans, and specifications.
  • Identify missing or conflicting scope/detail related to successful constructability of the project.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs for commercial construction projects, including demolition, asphalt, curb, fine grading, concrete, masonry, steel, framing, glass storefront, HVAC duct, plumbing, electrical components, and electrical conduit/wire using software like On Screen Takeoff or Bluebeam.
  • Assist with construction document/plan/spec review, redlining, and requests for information.
  • Prepare digital takeoffs highlighting the scope of work.
  • Evaluate the cost of materials, labor, and equipment required to complete the project using Microsoft Excel and existing cost information.
  • Develop strong relationships with project management teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in construction, engineering, business management/finance/accounting, or similar fields is preferred but not required based on level of experience and aptitude.
  • Knowledge of construction, components of construction, and how these components are constructed.
  • Commercial construction experience across multiple trades is preferred.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Planswift, and other software is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality work.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with project management teams.
