Job Title

Senior Observability and Reliability Engineer.


Overview of the Role

Monitor, manage, and improve system reliability by creating custom dashboards, building alerting pipelines, and reducing toil. Work collaboratively with engineers and operations teams to ensure seamless platform uptime.

This is a high-impact role where you will be at the intersection of engineering and operations—quickly identifying issues, performing root cause analysis, and driving improvements that prevent recurrence. You are passionate about keeping systems stable, proactive in detecting anomalies, and experienced in coordinating response during critical incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop monitoring tools and scripts for automation using Python, TypeScript, or Bash.
  • Design and implement incident response processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve system reliability goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or IT Operations roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and SigNoz.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and document learnings.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in high-uptime or mission-critical environments.
  • Knowledge of advanced reliability engineering practices (SLOs, SLIs, error budgets).
  • Familiarity with low-code automation tools for operational workflows.
