Job Overview

As a skilled integration engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for developing custom front-end interfaces for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and integrating new and existing equipment into broader manufacturing infrastructures. Projects range from creating UI/UX designs for shop-floor interfaces to configuring back-end systems that facilitate data collection and system performance analytics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and integrate PLC programs with broader manufacturing systems to ensure seamless communication and efficient data exchange.
  • Design and develop user interfaces (UI/UX) for shop-floor applications using technologies like C#, resulting in intuitive and user-friendly experiences.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement Power BI dashboards and data reporting systems, providing actionable insights and driving business decisions.
  • Ensure the reliability and scalability of back-end processes, including using SQL Server and SSRS for data reporting, to meet the demands of a rapidly changing environment.
  • Customize MES front-end interfaces as per specific customer requirements, delivering tailored solutions that meet their unique needs.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their operational processes and provide customized software solutions that address their pain points.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for live systems, ensuring optimal uptime and minimal downtime.
Requirements
  • Languages and Technologies:
  • PLC Programming (Rockwell, Siemens) - 5+ years of experience is required to develop robust and efficient control logic.
  • C# Programming - 5+ years of experience is necessary to design and develop scalable and maintainable software applications.
  • SQL Server, SSRS, Power BI - 4+ years of experience is needed to create data-driven solutions and drive business growth.
  • Experience with AVEVA/Wonderware is highly desirable, but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with MES systems is highly desirable, as it enables deeper understanding of manufacturing operations and more effective integration.
  • Front-End Skills:
  • Strong knowledge in UI/UX design for functional user interfaces, with experience using Figma, Photoshop, or similar tools, is essential to create visually appealing and engaging interfaces.
  • Additional Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on complex system integrations are crucial to overcome technical challenges and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Effective communication skills to work with a diverse, international team are vital to ensure successful collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing environments is a strong plus, as it provides valuable insight into the complexities of real-world manufacturing operations.
