Learning and Development Expert Job Description

The Learning and Development Expert plays a pivotal role in assessing organizational learning needs through surveys, interviews, and performance data. Their responsibility involves designing engaging training programs, workshops, and learning materials that cater to various aspects, including onboarding, leadership development, soft skills, and compliance.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of learning needs across the organization.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs and workshops.
  • Coordinate and facilitate in-house and virtual training sessions.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training through feedback, assessments, and performance outcomes.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to manage learning platforms or LMS.
  • Support career development initiatives and individual learning plans.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge-sharing within the organization.
  • Maintain accurate records of training programs, attendance, and certifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, psychology, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in L&D, training, or talent development.
  • Proficiency in instructional design, e-learning tools, and learning platforms.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
