Your Customer (KYC) procedures for new account openings, existing customer account maintenance, and transaction monitoring activities are completed and signed off by operations in compliance with local regulations and ING's global procedures. Key responsibilities include:Interpreting procedures and policies, then aligning the operations team for their implementation. Handling queries and managing intermediate to complex scenarios encountered by operations, including resolving process and knowledge gaps.

Facilitating sessions for process updates and operational calibration as needed. Conducting thematic analysis on quality and remediation reports of KYC/TM, identifying roadblocks, and applying solutions to prevent future issues, in partnership with management teams. Providing consultancy and advisory services on projects and initiatives impacting quality, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.

Applying quality management frameworks to enhance performance and collaboration across QA/QR/QC teams. Self-organizing and capable of delivering complex work independently. Coaching and mentoring junior experts.

Implementing controls and documentation for audit, testing, migration, and quality assurance processes. Ideal candidate qualities include:High analytical skills, multitasking ability, and proficiency with analytical tools and systems. Proactive critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Influencing and persuasive skills to steer discussions on scope and requirements. Knowledge or background in Wholesale and Retail banking KYC processes. Minimum educational qualification: Bachelor's/College Degree in Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management, or equivalent.

Preferred experience: 2-4 years in banking operations or related fields. Can-do attitude includes:Understanding and executing quality management elements between the first and second lines of defense, identifying root causes to prevent recurrence and mitigate risks. Coaching operations staff and junior experts to improve quality and knowledge, ensuring sustained performance.

Articulating and challenging changes, disputing findings, and working on proposals with counterparts. Performing ad hoc tasks as required by the business. Collaborative work environment:Engage with Operations Staff, Leadership, COE teams, control and compliance teams, and project teams.
