We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Incubation Program Manager.
This is a unique opportunity for an individual who can provide operational support in the establishment of technology business incubation and accelerators.
The successful candidate will be responsible for capacitating and supporting technology business incubators to ensure the development of competitive and sustainable enterprises.
Main Purpose of the Job
The primary objective of this position is to facilitate the implementation of the incubation strategy, with a focus on providing operational support to existing and new technology business incubators (TBI's) and accelerators.
The incumbent will monitor and evaluate TBI's and accelerators performance and recommend appropriate interventions to enhance their efficiency and effectiveness.
This position requires the ability to network and build effective linkages with relevant stakeholders, including government departments, industry partners, and other organizations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the effective performance and efficiency levels of a portfolio of incubators /accelerators, ensuring that they meet the required standards and benchmarks.
Key Performance Areas
- Provide operational support to technology business incubation and accelerators.
- Capacitate and support technology business incubators to ensure the development of competitive and sustainable enterprises.
- Monitor and evaluate TBI's and accelerators performance and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Network and build effective linkages with relevant stakeholders.
- Manage the effective performance and efficiency levels of a portfolio of incubators /accelerators.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Operations Management or Business Management or Incubation Management or Entrepreneurship Management or Project Management or Computer Science.
- A Bachelor Degree (NQF Level 7) in Operations Management or Business Management or Incubation Management or Computer Science as added advantage.
