We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to manage transportation logistics, ensuring timely deliveries and efficient routing.
Key Responsibilities:- Schedule and dispatch trucks for deliveries based on route optimization and customer requirements
- Monitor the progress of shipments and provide real-time updates to clients and drivers
- Maintain communication with drivers to provide assistance and solve any issues that may arise during transit
- Coordinate load assignments and track the status of deliveries to ensure on-time service
- Manage customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to scheduling or deliveries
- Utilize dispatching software and tracking systems to maintain accurate records
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies regarding transportation and safety
- Previous experience in trucking dispatch, logistics, or fleet management
- Strong understanding of trucking routes, regulations, and industry best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in dispatch software and technology
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
