Eggs Unlimited has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Clerk with produce experience.

About the Role

This role involves coordinating shipping and receiving of products, preparing accurate shipping and receiving documentation, updating records in our database, communicating with suppliers and other departments via phone and email, monitoring shipments for timely delivery, and identifying causes of delays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Logistics Coordination: Ensure seamless coordination between suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to facilitate smooth product delivery.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Prepare and maintain accurate shipping and receiving documents, as well as update records in our database to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving: Communicate effectively with suppliers, freight forwarders, and other departments via phone and email to resolve any logistical issues that may arise.
  • Monitoring and Analysis: Regularly monitor shipments for timely delivery and identify causes of delays to implement corrective measures.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in logistics or a similar field is preferred.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to interact with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to resolve logistical issues.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
