About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Logistics Data Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and managing logistics-related data within our systems.


Main Responsibilities
  • Data entry and management: Enter and update shipping, receiving, and inventory data into the company database with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Transaction recording: Maintain records of logistics transactions, including invoices, shipping documents, and inventory updates.
  • Data verification: Verify data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Team coordination: Coordinate with warehouse, transportation, and customer service teams to ensure data alignment.
  • Reporting: Prepare and generate regular reports on logistics activities, such as delivery status and inventory levels.
  • Shipping monitoring: Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and proper documentation.
  • Compliance assistance: Assist with documentation for customs, freight, and regulatory compliance.
  • Data security: Maintain confidentiality and ensure security of sensitive data.

Requirements
  • Data entry experience: Proven experience in data entry or logistics support is highly desirable.
  • Software proficiency: Proficiency in data entry software and logistics systems (e.g., ERP, TMS, or WMS) is essential.
  • Computer skills: Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word, are required.
  • Critical thinking: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary.
  • Multitasking: Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential.
  • Bonus skills: Knowledge of supply chain or logistics terminology and processes is a plus.
