Logistics Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Logistics Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the management of shipments, customs documentation, and carrier relationships.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage shipment levels across multiple locations to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
  • Prepare and manage necessary customs documentation for international shipments in compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Oversee daily operations of shipments to meet deadlines and customer requirements, ensuring seamless logistics execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, negotiating rates and ensuring compliance with service agreements.
  • Ensure all logistics activities comply with international trade regulations and company standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in freight forwarding, shipping line, or brokerage firms.
  • Knowledge of shipping documents (BOLs, AWBs, PKLs, invoices) and ability to prepare accurate and compliant documentation.
  • Strong data entry and data validation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in modern software, technology, and computer systems, including Transport Management Systems (TMS).
  • Relevant degree in Customs Administration or similar field, with licensure as a customs broker.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to convey ideas clearly and concisely in English.
