Accounting Professional Wanted

We seek an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in Australian accounting and tax compliance.

  • At least 2+ years of Australian accounting experience is required.
  • The ideal candidate will have the ability to prepare financial statements, tax returns, and compliance documents to review stage with minimal review points.
About the Role:
  1. Work across a diverse client base, including Individuals, Companies, Trusts, and Family Groups, and gain exposure to complex areas of Australian taxation.
  2. Prepare and complete Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns, BAS, and IAS to review stage with high accuracy.
  3. Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply knowledge of Div7A, FBT, and CGT in preparing accurate tax outcomes for clients.
  • Liaise with managers and clients where required, ensuring all deliverables are completed within deadlines.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail to minimize review points.
Qualifications/Skills:
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply complex tax laws.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and professional correspondence.
  • Experience with FYI, MYOB, and Ignition will be highly regarded but not essential.
