Job Overview

The compensation and benefits manager will oversee all facets of international payroll operations, ensuring employees are compensated accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with local, national, and international regulations.

This role is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of payroll operations, from initial processing to final settlement. It requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as expertise in payroll legislation and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Approve monthly, fortnightly, and ad-hoc pay runs, processing accurate and timely payrolls.
  • Own monthly payroll reporting, journal preparation, and payroll balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Lead a team responsible for payroll operations across multiple geographies, driving strategic initiatives to enhance processes and improve efficiency.
  • Evaluate the performance of managed service providers, ensuring SLA adherence and contractual obligations.
  • Implement and roll-out future global managed payroll services, owning these services.
  • Cascade knowledge and develop team capabilities to strengthen understanding of business needs and service excellence.
Qualifications
  • 5 years extensive experience in payroll management, preferably in large, complex organizations operating across multiple geographies.
  • Expertise in payroll software such as Workday, ADP Global View, and/or Ramco Payce Global Payroll is highly regarded.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, influencing and collaborating with key stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and adaptability in managing change.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor teams to drive success.
