Our organization is seeking a skilled and experienced Payroll Team Lead to join our team. This role will be responsible for leading the payroll operations function, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving business improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the payroll operations team, providing guidance and direction on all aspects of payroll processing, including time entry, mass payments, overpayments, benefits, payroll accounting, and leave administration.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs, while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop recommendations for process enhancements.
  • Collaborate with internal partners and third-party vendors to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements, such as SOX compliance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, managers, and external vendors.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
  • Experience with payroll software and systems, including time and attendance tracking.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, such as SOX compliance.
