Department: COO Learning and Development

The COO Learning and Development department is responsible for developing high-quality classroom, online, and blended learning solutions to deliver an outstanding partner experience.

Job Title: Training Consultant

The Training Consultant will work collaboratively with team members to develop training solutions for assigned business units.

Under general direction, the Training Consultant will assist with defining learning solutions that support functional requirements.

  • Designing and delivering functional training solutions
  • Analyzing solutions for continuous improvement
  • Undertaking operational and administrative aspects of the training curriculum
Main Responsibilities:
  1. Works with management, performance consultants, and/or subject matter experts to understand desired business outcomes and translate them into learning and organization development objectives.
  2. Works with stakeholders to determine appropriate learning methodologies and organization development solutions.
  3. Develops project plans including identification of subject matter experts where appropriate.
  4. Develops, facilitates, and delivers learning and organization development programs.
  5. Coordinates and delivers training programs and mandatory curriculum within assigned geographic location/globally.
  6. Liaises with both managers and participants to outline program requirements.
  7. Maintains all training and progress reports surrounding the program.
  8. Continuous evaluation of the program working with COO and stakeholders.
  9. Designs, develops, and maintains a training curriculum for the Financial Reporting function within the Global COO curriculums which can be implemented and delivered regardless of geographic location.
  10. Coordinates/delivers the Business unit functional curriculum within your geographic location.
  11. Designs and delivers training for existing systems and new system roll-outs.
  12. Ensures that COO Learning and Development Functional learning and development interventions are aligned with the Business Unit and/or enterprise-wide needs.
  13. Consults with areas in the business unit to provide ongoing support.
  14. Work collaboratively with other Global Training Teams.
Key Skills/Qualifications:
  • Prior training consulting experience would be an advantage.
  • Prior Financial Services experience would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management.
  • Self-starter and team player.
  • Attention to detail.

A minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant experience is required.
