Payroll Specialist III
About the Role:This role is responsible for providing quality and efficient payroll, benefits, and HR administration to clients.
Responsibilities include managing and maintaining new hires and terminations, leave administration, 3rd party maintenance, reporting, liaising with vendors and government agencies, calendar of events, change controls, inquiry management, year-end processing, tax and remittance filing, and process documentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform a full range of client out-sourced activities in a quality and efficient manner.
- Establish and maintain a deep understanding of client requirements and their changing needs.
- Communicate effectively and consistently with clients, employees, internal partners, and 3rd party vendors.
- Deliver on established quality targets and review processes to improve service experience.
- 3+ years payroll experience preferably in a high volume payroll operations environment.
- Previous customer service experience working in a deadline-driven work environment required.
- PCP Certification or obtained within 18 months of employment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills using various media.
- Proven knowledge of PC literacy and software usage, ideally Word, Excel, and the Internet.
- Benefits Administration experience is an asset.
