US Payroll Operations Specialist

The primary objective of this role is to manage day-to-day data entry activities for payroll and billing, while serving as a backup to human resources.
Key Responsibilities- Process client requests and set up orders
- Execute normal payroll processing for non-specialized client requests
- Transact entries in third-party billing systems
- Prepare supporting attachments for billing
- Monitor and address level 1 work orders
- Research client, customer, and associate escalations
- Confirm and address direct deposit setups
- Provide sales administration support
- Assist and participate in data efforts for special projects
- Monitor and respond to emails
- Verify and activate employee records
- Monitor and address level 1 work orders
- Conduct internal audits and gaps analysis
- Order, monitor, and schedule timekeeping clock setups
- Monitor secondary systems and escalate abnormalities
- Complete technical reviews to ensure systems match intentions
This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience with payroll and billing systems, as well as sales administration software.
RequirementsWhat You Bring:
- University graduate
- English fluency required - any knowledge of Spanish is beneficial
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Suite, QuickBooks; capable of learning new software quickly if no prior experience
- 2-4 years of experience preferred
- Access to sufficient computer equipment & internet access at home
- May be required to work beyond normal scheduled hours when necessary and may be subject to callbacks during emergency conditions
