Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Building Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, operation, and upkeep of our buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and management, with excellent customer service, communication, and computer skills.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Supervise and manage the operations of building systems, equipment, and facilities to ensure they are running efficiently and effectively.
  2. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
  3. Manage and coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
  4. Monitor and control utility consumption, including water and electricity.
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  6. Provide timely and accurate incident reports and maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities.
  7. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
  8. Coordinate with residents and respond to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Qualifications
  • Registered Electrical or Mechanical Engineer.
  • At least 2 years relevant working experience in building facilities management.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and computer skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
