Technical Support Specialist

This role involves delivering high-quality technical assistance to clients through various channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing service requests and incidents within a ticketing system.

About the Role:
  • Provide premium customer support services
  • Manage service requests and incidents within a ticketing system
  • Perform daily follow-ups with customers to ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Assist with password reset and software installation on devices
  • Support multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, and VPN access
  • Offer troubleshooting assistance for software and hardware issues
  • Provide remote hardware support for laptops, tablets, mobile devices, monitors, docking stations, printers, and accessories
  • Answer general 'how-to' questions
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Reliable internet connectivity
  • CompTIA A+ certification
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Windows 10, and Active Directory
  • At least 1 year of Mac OS experience
  • Experience with the ServiceNow ticketing system
  • Familiarity with remote access tools such as LogMeIn, TeamViewer, and Take Control
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows hardware and software break/fix issues remotely
  • 2-3 years of progressive experience in a technical support role with an MSP or call center IT support environment
  • Technical expertise with common hardware, software, and technologies
  • Understanding of performance metrics and KPIs
  • Degree from a college or technology school preferred
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
