Role Overview

This is a full-time opportunity for an Invoicing Specialist to join our team in a hybrid setting. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams to produce accurate financial invoices, ensuring timely delivery and high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare SAP financial invoices for assigned accounts based on Lexmark contracts.
  • Develop supporting documentation tailored to specific customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to accommodate changes in customer needs and update processes accordingly.
  • Monitor the status of assigned accounts to ensure invoices are delivered within agreed-upon timelines.
  • Deliver invoices and supporting documents to customers via electronic mail, snail mail, or forward to designated Customer Operations teams.
Revenue Recognition
  • Recognize revenue for handled accounts primarily through the invoicing process or accounting journal entries when invoicing cannot be executed.
  • Work with internal audit teams to maintain established controls for revenue recognition.
Customer Satisfaction
  • Act as secondary point of contact to resolve billing concerns and related matters for customers.
  • Coordinate with Lexmark teams to enable faster resolution of billing issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Intermediate accounting knowledge.
  • International Accounting Standards familiarity.
  • Working knowledge of ERP functionalities, preferably SAP financial module.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Competencies, Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
  • Knowledge of organizational structures within sales and marketing teams supported geographies.
  • Knowledge of dedicated teams' organizational structures.
  • Understanding of Lexmark's business model and offerings.
Education, Experience & Certifications
  • Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, or related fields.
  • Preferably minimum 1 year experience in accounting; not required.
  • No minimum license or certification requirement.
