Job Title: Financial Transactions Specialist

As a Financial Transactions Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing financial transactions across multiple client accounts. You will be responsible for recording, classifying, and reconciling financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with Australian tax regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Record and classify financial transactions from various sources, ensuring timely processing and accuracy.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and payment management.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with the preparation and lodgement of BAS and IAS documents.
  • Oversee payroll processing, including tax withholding and superannuation payments.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to resolve queries and gather necessary financial documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably within an Australian tax practice.
  • Proficient in Xero, MYOB, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with tax compliance and payroll software.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Accounting or Bookkeeping, with bonus points for certifications in Xero or MYOB.
