Job Summary

We are seeking a Product Development Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to play a key role in the development of new products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with cross-functional teams to transform initial concepts into viable commercial products.
  • Collaborate with product designers, legal, compliance, and quality teams to communicate requirements to suppliers regarding compliance, quality, and specification standards.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams or external agencies to ensure marketing-related deliverables are completed according to timeline and brand guidelines.
  • Manage project timelines, keep stakeholders updated, and ensure each project is completed and launched on schedule.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in a product development role, ideally within the baby, kids or toys categories, with end-to-end experience from ideation, validation, sourcing, sample validation, quality inspection and mass production.
  • 1-2 years of project management experience.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to manage multiple projects and timelines.
  • Self-directed, proactive, and motivated to push projects forward with limited supervision.
  • Good understanding of Western consumer markets (US & Europe) for product decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience dealing with suppliers in and out of China.
