Business Intelligence Analyst Role Overview

This role plays a pivotal part in driving the success of sales operations by providing actionable insights and streamlining business processes.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with leadership to develop data-driven strategies that align with organizational objectives.
    • Assist in coordination of budget process and ongoing forecasting reviews.
    • Analyze account segmentation to drive alignment across regions and territories.
  • Data Analysis and Insights:
    • Analyze sales performance metrics, quotas, conversion rates, and sales pipeline data to identify opportunities and challenges.
    • Generate actionable insights to improve business strategies and tactics.
    • Collect and consolidate sales data from CRM systems, databases, and spreadsheets.
  • Forecasting and Reporting:
    • Work with sales leaders to set achievable targets and quotas.
    • Develop accurate sales forecasts considering historical data, in-year performance, and market trends.
    • Monitor forecast accuracy and make adjustments as needed.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify process inefficiencies in sales processes and recommend improvements.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and monitor their impact.
    • Support the operational implementation of acquisitions into standard process.
  • Qualifications and Skills:
    • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
    • 5+ years proven experience in sales analytics, planning, or related roles.
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx, Excel, SQL).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
    • Knowledge of sales processes, CRM systems, and sales methodologies.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work with complex data sets to create impactful reports.
    • High adaptability to changing business needs and priorities.
