Inventory Operations Director

About the Role:

This is a senior-level full-time position in the logistics and supply chain management division.

As an Inventory Operations Director, you will oversee the overall inventory operations and ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

You will be responsible for strategically managing inventory levels, conducting analyses, and providing recommendations to leadership for operational improvements through data-driven insights and industry knowledge.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in inventory operations or related field, with excellent leadership skills, strong analytical expertise, and hands-on experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and databases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of overall inventory operations
  • Strategic management of inventory levels in compliance with organizational policies and procedures
  • Conducting studies and providing recommendations to leadership for operational improvements through data-driven insights and industry knowledge
  • Managing various analyses – including demand forecasting, inventory optimization, lead time reduction, and more
  • Ensuring accurate and timely reporting of inventory metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Initiating, coordinating, and enforcing optimal inventory control policies and procedures
  • Adhering to all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and improve operational efficiency
