Warehouse Operations Specialist

This role oversees the overall warehouse operations, ensuring that all processes are running smoothly and efficiently. The Warehouse Operations Specialist is responsible for strategically managing the warehouse in compliance with established policies and vision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the overall warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound logistics.
  • Strategically manage warehouse space to optimize storage capacity and reduce costs.
  • Conduct studies and provide recommendations to management for strategic initiatives through data analysis and market expertise.
  • Manage various analyses, including cost/benefit, cost-optimization, delivery/returns performance, forecasts, solution feasibility, and more.
  • Ensure service level agreements are met, and implement process improvements as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field, with 5-7 years of total work experience focusing on warehouse operations or related field. Strong leadership skills, analytical expertise, knowledge of warehousing key performance indicators, hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases, problem-solving, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or any related field.
  • 5-7 years total work experience focusing on warehouse operations, or related field.
  • Excellent leadership skill with strong analytical expertise to properly assess data and draw conclusions from it.
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators.
  • Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
  • Strong problem-solving, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
