Inventory Specialist

About the Role:

This is a dynamic and challenging role where you will be responsible for performing regular audits to verify warehouse inventory accuracy, investigating discrepancies between physical inventory and system records, and updating inventory management systems with adjustments and corrections as needed.

As an Inventory Specialist, you will collaborate with other warehouse staff and stakeholders to address operational inefficiencies contributing to discrepancies, manage and monitor personnel assigned to the team, generate inventory reports, and maintain accurate records of all reconciliation activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular audits to verify warehouse inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
  • Update inventory management systems with adjustments and corrections as needed.
  • Collaborate with other warehouse staff and stakeholders to address operational inefficiencies contributing to discrepancies.
  • Manage and monitor personnel assigned to the team.
  • Generate inventory reports and maintain accurate records of all reconciliation activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in reconciliation, inventory management, or warehouse operations.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical ability to review large data sets and identify reconcilable items and discrepancies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs).
