Key Role Overview

The Field Sales Senior Executive plays a pivotal part in identifying new business opportunities and developing client relationships to promote freight forwarding services. This encompasses air, sea, and cross-border logistics solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Sales and Business Development: Secure new clients for international freight forwarding services (import/export) and expand existing accounts by cross-selling customs clearance, warehousing, and transportation services.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain robust relationships with logistics decision-makers, including importers/exporters, manufacturers, and traders.
  • Proposal and Presentation: Prepare and deliver customized proposals, quotations, and presentations to clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction through regular follow-ups and issue resolution.
  • Sales Targets: Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Sales Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records in Customer Relationship Management systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in freight forwarding sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of international logistics, INCOTERMS, customs procedures, and trade regulations.
