About the Role

The Branch Business Director is responsible for overseeing the overall profitability of the branch. He/She determines market/business potential in his/her assigned area of responsibility.

This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable corporate experience while learning from seasoned leaders in a highly competitive field.

As a member of the Branch Banking group, you will be at the forefront of providing personalized and quality service to our clients. From marketing and sales generation to administration and control, the Business Director will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency of our branch business.

We are looking for Directors who will bring fresh ideas to the continuous improvement of our processes, and passion when it comes to the execution of projects and tasks. We need our Business Directors to be versatile and enthusiastic when dealing with challenges inherent in a hyper-competitive industry.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Determine market/business potential in assigned areas of responsibility
  2. Formulate and implement strategies for achieving targets
  3. Manage branch profitability by growing business, optimizing income, and rationalizing expenditures
  4. Establish strong synergy with partner units/groups through collaborative undertaking
  5. Develop the entire branch sales force through coaching, mentoring, and monitoring

What we're looking for

  • A minimum of 3 years of sales and marketing experience related to the banking industry
  • Excellent selling and negotiation skills, preferably with an active client portfolio in the assigned location
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Ability to actively seek new ways of working to improve efficiency and productivity
