Job Overview

This is a key role that requires strategic collaboration and partnership with various stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality services. As a Specialist in Alliance Operations, you will be responsible for providing expert support and guidance on all aspects of Microsoft partner programs.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of Microsoft technologies and excellent communication skills to effectively engage with senior stakeholders. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive business growth through efficient operations and process improvements.

Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day activities related to Microsoft Partner Center, including access management, commercial marketplace solution management, lead tracking, referral submissions, claim submissions, Azure revenue tracking, and more.

You will also be expected to serve as a trusted advisor to senior management, providing insights and recommendations on Partner Center benefits and other Microsoft partner programs.

Additional responsibilities include coordinating Microsoft Advanced Specialization processes, collaborating with EY Global Microsoft Practice, managing Microsoft revenue recognition processes, and owning Microsoft Partner Program knowledge and acting as Subject Matter Resource.

As a team player, you will work closely with the EY Microsoft Co-Investment Team to manage requirements related to requesting and reimbursing Incentives and other funding programs. You will also collaborate with onshore Microsoft Alliance Enablement contacts on strategic projects and initiatives.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies, cloud services, and Partner Center platform.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate across multiple groups.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI, with experience in project management, budgeting, execution, tracking, and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze trends, identify business insights, and provide data-driven recommendations to leadership.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex partner programs, incentives, and investment programs.
