Key HR Role

Our immigration law firm is seeking a Virtual HR Recruiter/Manager to wear multiple hats—recruiting top-tier talent, shaping internal policies, streamlining onboarding processes, and helping us scale with confidence.

About the Position

  • Recruitment & Staffing:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring legal and administrative staff. Develop strong relationships with candidates and ensure seamless integration into our team.

  • Create detailed job descriptions and offer letters aligned with U.S. labor laws. Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Build candidate pipelines and optimize ATS tools. Utilize data analytics to inform recruitment strategies and drive results.

  • HR Compliance & Policy Development:

  • Draft and maintain compliant HR policies, employee handbooks, and legal hiring protocols. Ensure all documents are accessible and easy to understand.

  • Ensure compliance with U.S. federal/state regulations (e.g., FLSA, EEOC, I-9, FMLA). Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement.

  • Onboarding & Internal Systems:

  • Build and oversee structured onboarding and training cycles. Develop comprehensive onboarding plans that cater to different learning styles.

  • Create SOPs for employee roles, performance evaluations, and HR documentation. Streamline workflows and reduce administrative burdens.

  • Help standardize internal workflows, time tracking, vacation policies, and performance reviews. Foster a culture of transparency and accountability.

  • Law Firm Operations Support:

  • Collaborate with leadership on staffing plans and strategic HR development. Provide insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.

  • Assist with payroll coordination, timekeeping, and employee satisfaction programs. Help create a positive work environment that encourages growth and engagement.

  • Support the development of a scalable firm culture and retention-focused systems. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed.
