The ideal candidate will support the HR function by assisting with various people operations activities and ensuring the smooth execution of HR processes. You will work closely with the People team to deliver an empathic and customer service-focused experience for everyone at our organization.

Responsibilities

Employee Experience

  • Provide support to employee questions and inquiries, delivering high-level customer service and exploring opportunities to innovate and advance our People Operations backbone.
  • Assist with the full employee lifecycle, including pre-boarding, onboarding, offboarding, leave administration, employee change requests, and maintaining personnel records.

HR Administration

  • Coordinate HR-related documentation, such as employment contracts, offer letters, change letters, and HR-related correspondence in Rippling.
  • Manage employee data in Rippling, ensuring data accuracy and integrity and meeting employee experience processes (e.g., referral payments, sign-on bonuses).

Systems, Automation & Reporting

  • Ensure rigorous QA processes for all data entry tasks.
  • Develop automation of HR processes in Rippling to eliminate manual repetitive tasks.
  • Report on people initiatives as required.

Employee Relations

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding People policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Assist with employee relations documentation, including disciplinary actions and performance management processes.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is desired.
  • 3–5 years of experience in HR administration or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Australian employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and HRIS software; experience with Rippling or similar HRIS platforms is preferred.

Note: This role will be working remotely and on a fixed-term contract.
