Technical Support Specialist

Our organization is seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to provide remote and onsite technical assistance to end-users. The ideal candidate will have expertise in troubleshooting PC hardware and software issues, as well as other computing concerns such as printers and scanners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve PC, laptop and Mac device issues by conducting thorough diagnostic tests and implementing effective solutions.
  • Support network-related tasks, including connectivity testing and LAN cable wiring, to ensure seamless communication between devices.
  • Aid administrators during remote troubleshooting activities by providing onsite server availability and ensuring that servers are functioning correctly.
  • Assist users with workstation-related concerns and troubleshoot issues related to software applications and hardware components.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Hold a diploma in Computer Technician and Systems Management or equivalent, with certification in Windows Professional or CompTIA A+ being an advantage.
  • Have at least one year of experience in supporting end-user technical concerns, with proficiency in MS Office applications and email systems.
  • Possess basic cabling and installation skills, as well as inventory management and record-keeping abilities.
  • Be able to coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials.
