About the Role:

This position involves providing technical assistance to customers and other company personnel in the general use of products, using knowledge of engineering principles and techniques. The role requires online chat, phone or email support addressing both internal and external inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responds to customer inquiries regarding product information, troubleshooting and selection.
  • Completes technical requests, including product troubleshooting and application coordination.
  • Provides updates to online product information, interchange tools and FAQs.
  • Assists in updating product information for distributors.
  • Handles departmental routines promptly and reports problems to supervisor.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a four-year BS degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering. English language skills are required, with skills in other languages being a plus.

Able to read/interpret blueprints and tolerance schemes, with experience in relational database and/or Oracle preferred.

Good communication and people skills are essential.
