Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Coordinator to provide comprehensive HR services, including payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee relations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. They will also be expected to process employee updates and claims on government and company benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform end-to-end payroll processing capturing data from HRIS systems and reflecting it in local payroll systems.
  • Ensure payroll and statutory government benefits comply with latest implementing rules and regulations.
  • Process employee updates and claims on government and company benefits.
  • Build ad-hoc payroll and headcount reports per request of the business or as needed.
  • Provide timely, professional, and accurate payroll and benefits advice to employees.
  • Support the team on letter distribution and signing such as pay review, bonus, and commissions.
  • Maintain relationships with managed payroll service providers to ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll and statutory benefits.
  • Act as the first point of contact for any major payroll system updates, changes, and information requests.
  • Train and transfer knowledge with local teams to ensure they are up-to-date with recent system changes and enhancements.
  • Escalate immediately to payroll system providers or Workday team any system issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Minimum 2 years relevant payroll experience.
  • Technical expertise or prior experience as a payroll specialist.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, organization, and customer service skills.
  • Result-driven and able to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain high level of trust and integrity to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
  • Comfortable working with minimum supervision but also collaboratively as part of a global team with common objectives.
  • Ability to objectively prioritize workload.
  • Ability to liaise with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Good spoken and written English required.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Mid proficiency in Workday.
