
HR Assistant

Position Overview
This is not your typical HR Assistant role. As one of the first members of our HR team, you will play a vital part in both day-to-day HR operations and the design and implementation of HR processes that will shape the company's people strategy. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to grow with the organization, take initiative, and be directly involved in building HR frameworks from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
HR Process Development
- Assist in creating and refining HR policies, procedures, and systems
- Support the setup of HR records, employee databases, and compliance frameworks
- Contribute ideas for improving employee engagement, retention, and performance management
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Draft job postings, screen applications, and coordinate interviews
- Help develop structured onboarding and orientation programs for new hires
HR Administration
- Maintain accurate and organized employee records and HR files
- Assist with payroll data (attendance, overtime, leave credits)
- Draft HR documents such as contracts, memos, and clearance forms
Employee Relations & Support
- Be a first point of contact for basic HR inquiries
- Support HR initiatives like training, wellness, and recognition programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience preferred (but motivated fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
- Strong interest in HR systems, process-building, and organizational development
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of HRIS tools is a plus

- Problem-Solving & Initiative – proactive in identifying issues and suggesting improvements
- Confidentiality & Integrity – ability to handle sensitive employee information responsibly
- Attention to Detail – accuracy in documentation, compliance, and reporting
- Learning Agility – eager to expand HR knowledge (labor laws, compliance, HR systems) as the company grows
