System Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing Linux-based systems, Windows Server and Virtual Hyper-V environments, cloud technology, web hosting, VoIP systems, and domain management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering Linux-based systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This includes managing users, permissions, and file systems. Additionally, the candidate will need to manage Windows Server and Virtual Hyper-V environments for efficient operation, including configuring virtual machines and networking.

The candidate should also have experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS or Azure, to enhance scalability and flexibility of IT systems. Furthermore, they should have experience with web hosting environments, including Cloudron, to support web development projects.

An important aspect of this role is handling VoIP systems, including Asterisk, Vicidial, and 3CX, to support telecommunication services. The candidate should also have experience with domain registration and DNS settings with providers like GoDaddy and Cloudflare.

The System Administrator will oversee S3 bucket storage management to ensure data integrity and security. They should also have knowledge of programming languages such as PHP, HTML, JavaScript, and frameworks like Laravel to support web development projects.

Additionally, the candidate should have experience in email server management and familiarity with Group Office software for efficient communication and collaboration.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Linux administration, Windows Server/Virtual Hyper-V, and cloud technology.
  • Familiarity with web hosting environments; Cloudron web hosting experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in VoIP systems administration, including Asterisk, Vicidial, and 3CX.
  • Experience with domain management through providers like GoDaddy and Cloudflare.
