Quality Assurance Leader

The Quality Assurance Leader plays a pivotal role in championing quality within our organisation, ensuring we meet our corporate mission and values.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee and maintain our purpose-built Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 standards to guarantee seamless compliance.
  2. Develop and execute audit programmes and plans, conduct internal audits, and coordinate external audits to identify areas for improvement.
  3. Identify opportunities for enhancement in company processes and systems, collaborate with subject matter experts to drive implementation, and analyse data to inform decision-making.
  4. Manage CAPA related activities, ensure overall compliance to standard operating procedures in line with the QMS, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  5. Lead risk management initiatives in accordance with best practices, including ISO 14971, IEC 60812, and ISO 31000, to mitigate potential threats and ensure business resilience.
  6. Guarantee quality throughout medical device development according to regulatory requirements such as CE MDR, FDA, and TGA, as well as standards including ISO 13485, IEC 60601, and IEC 62304.
Requirements
  1. A relevant qualification from a reputable education institution.
  2. At least 5 years' experience in quality assurance or a similar role.
  3. Thorough knowledge of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001, as well as regulatory requirements pertinent to product development.
