Senior Accounting Specialist

We're seeking a seasoned accounting professional to join our team as a Senior Accounting Specialist. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated individual to take on a leadership role in our finance department.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

This role will involve performing end-to-end General Ledger Accounting, partnering with the Finance Controller for ASC 606 recording and commission expense reporting, designing and rolling out processes for capitalizing software development costs under ASC 350, preparing and presenting financial reports for senior leadership, leading projects requiring technical accounting research, GAAP compliance, and memo preparation, identifying and implementing process and system improvements, participating in software implementations, process upgrades, and cross-training initiatives, and taking ownership of special projects, ad hoc reports, and general accounting duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform end-to-end General Ledger Accounting
  • Partner with the Finance Controller for ASC 606 recording and commission expense reporting

  • Prepare and present financial reports for senior leadership

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • CPA with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting and controllership experience
  • 2-3 years in Big 4 audit or multinational companies
  • At least 2 years working with U.S. clients (insurance and tech company experience is a plus)
  • Strong exposure to ASC 606
  • QuickBooks, Bill.com and Credit Card transaction
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently while acting with integrity and professionalism
