Senior Software Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep theoretical knowledge of software testing principles and strong critical thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop well-reasoned and business-aware test strategies that consider product risks and customer needs.
- Apply a risk-based approach to testing and prioritize test coverage logically and consistently.
Technical Expertise & Tools Proficiency:
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of web debugging tools, proxy tools, mock data, error handling and testing.
- Database data and query analysis for deeper issue investigation.API testing.
- Logs analysis, server issue debugging.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in a fast-paced SaaS or tech environment.
- Strong theoretical knowledge of QA methodologies, test types, and test design techniques.
- Ability to self-organize, think critically, and prioritize testing efforts based on risk and user impact.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, issue trackers and test case management tools.
Bonus Skills (Desirable):
- Experience with test automation and scripting for API/UI testing.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools.
- Exposure to cloud environments and testing in distributed systems.
