Senior Software Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a senior software tester. As a key member of our agile development squad, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our end-products.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement comprehensive testing strategies that meet industry standards. Your expertise in manual testing, including functional, non-functional, and regression testing, will be invaluable in helping us deliver high-quality solutions to our clients.
- Your responsibilities will include designing test cases and scripts, participating in requirement reviews, and applying agreed standards to specify and perform manual and automated testing.
- You will also be responsible for analyzing quality concerns, documenting defects and failure rates, and communicating quality metrics in test reports.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team or mentoring/coaching other testers, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements3+ years of experience in manual testing (functional, non-functional, regression)
- Must have knowledge or experience working in web-based applications.
- Must have an understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Thorough understanding of Software Development Life Cycles.
Nice to have:
- Experience in writing SQLs using SQL Server 2019.
- Experience in working in a financial services/lending business.
- Experience or have basic knowledge in automation is a plus.
