Operations Manager, Insurance Denials



Job Summary:

The Operations Manager for Insurance Denials will oversee the correction of eligibility denials using various insurance portals. This role requires a strong understanding of US Healthcare insurance and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage workflow and delegate tasks effectively
  • Assess team performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Train new hires on daily tasks and ensure they understand their responsibilities
  • Set goals for team members and ensure compliance with company vision and plan
  • Report performance records and evaluations to HR and upper management as needed


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required
  • One year of experience handling patient health information, particularly demographic entry


Skills:
  • Ability to read, understand, and apply state/federal laws, regulations, and policies
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with diverse personalities in a professional manner
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer, telephone, internet, copier, fax, and scanner skills
  • Basic touch 10-key skills and math skills
  • Understanding and compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel (pivot tables), and database software
